About Me

Hello Friend! My name is Britney Hubbard. I am pleased to see you have made your way to our site. If you are anything like me, you must be wondering who in the world is Britney Hubbard and what is Hubbard Interiors & Design. While this is a new business venture for me, designing spaces that feel magical has always been something I have been passionate about. I keenly remember driving around town with my parents and envisioning how I could transform the houses we passed. As I got older, I was stuck at across-roads. I had a desk job throughout high school, but I knew I would not feel fulfilled if I was not allowing my creativity to take flight.

In 2015 I married the love of my life, Garrett Wade Hubbard. After our wedding in October, I made the move from my small town in Texas to a larger city in Louisiana. In 2017, we had our first little blonde-haired blue-eyed baby girl, Ellia Quinn. Who knew that a spunky little girl could bring so much joy to our family. Then, in 2019, we had our second daughter Sparrow Elise. Sparrow (also known as

Spar or Sperry Elis), wears the biggest smile on her face anytime you talk to her. To be honest, I think she may be the happiest baby I have ever met (I guess I could be biased though). When I am not working on a design projects, I am at home taking care of my two girls. It’s amazing how much a one and three year old can get into when you turn your back for 2 minutes. They keep me on my toes, that is for sure!

Together, my husband and I bought a home that was built in the mid 2000’s. The house was in great condition, but we have been working for the past several years to make it a home. Working on our many projects around our house (just ask my husband) sparked a new passion for interiors- thus my new business venture began. I started Hubbard Interiors out of a love and passion for all things design. Over the past several years I have researched and studied design in my free time.

My personal design style is a mix of transitional, modern and traditional – I love an old historic aesthetic mixed with modern furnishings. I say the key to an astounding design is a good mix of different styles. When you stick to one style it tends to fall flat and seem one dimensional. I love mixing patterns and textures to create interest in every space.

Together we can create a space that feels like home. I cannot wait to work with you!
